an alternative and easier route into Barisdale (especially for those of
you with very heavy packs!) why not check out the Arnisdale based ferry
service. This offers pick-ups and drop-offs, at pre-arranged times, mainly
from Arnisdale or Kinloch-Hourn to the Barisdale Boathouse (grid : NG 875 073
OS map 33).It is also possible to be picked up anywhere on the shores of
Loch Hourn. Wildlife spotting and fishing trips can also be arranged. For
